StashR is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect and use information when you use our app to transform saved videos and PDFs into actionable formats using AI.

Information We Collect

StashR collects limited anonymous analytics to understand user behavior and improve the app. This may include: 1 - Device info (model, OS, language) 2 - Usage stats (number of transformations, content types processed, time spent) 3 - We do NOT collect or permanently store personal data, video content, or PDF documents themselves.

Content Processing

StashR processes videos and PDFs you share or upload to extract text and generate summaries, checklists, or flashcards. All content is processed securely using AI (Whisper for video transcription, GPT-4 for content transformation). Original videos and PDFs are automatically deleted after processing is complete. We do not store, share, or use your content beyond generating the requested output format.

Use of Information

We use anonymized usage data to enhance features and fix bugs. We may analyze aggregated behavior (e.g., most popular output formats, common content types) to guide future improvements.

In-App Purchases

StashR offers subscriptions to unlock premium features such as unlimited content transformations and priority processing. Payments are handled securely by the App Store. We do not collect or store any billing or card info.

Data Disclosure

We do not share or sell any user data. Information is only disclosed if required by law.

Your Rights

You can use StashR without creating an account. You may disable analytics at the system level (via device settings).

Security

We use secure protocols and encryption to protect your data. Video and PDF uploads are ephemeral and automatically deleted after processing is complete.
